1. droneci-https

    Droneci and SSL

Finally managed to get Drone working properly with traefik v2 in docker.

I had to go back and forth while I managed to track down my issues, which were:

    • wrong hostname configured on the drone docker label parts
    • play with docker env vars while I get the …

  2. droneci

    Droneci

I used to run gitlab a while ago, but it was way too resource heavy for my requirements.

So far a long time I didn't run any local CI.

Today, I started playing around Droneci.

I got it working after some time in its own Debian vm.

    The server …

  3. Spring cleaning

    Idea of cleaning up projects

I've got like 35 or 36 git projects, both public and private that need some attention.

In an earlier post, I said I'd do maintenance on them, but that led me to not even trying anything new.

If I want to learn more, I have …

    Buy buy buy

As a good little consumer I haven't bought anything for black friday.

'dirnamepattern' could be aws, go or tmp, or whatever.

    Actual command

    find . -type d -name '*dirnamepattern*' -exec mv -t /dest/dir {} +

    Test before try

    I'm not sure if there's a dry run …

  6. Debian Jessie(8) end of life

    Special release

Jessie was my first version of Debian I've installed on my acer laptop back in 2015.

Nowadays, all my things run Buster, but it's still awful to think how fast time goes and Debian releases come and go.

  7. pgrep

    Pgrep

I've got a few shell scripts in a private repo and I recently wrote another to kill my vlc instances because it seems to hang up sometimes on Debian 10 when playing files from my junk hp microserver.

So I wrote something idiotic like this to kill vlc:

    What's been going

I haven't posted in 2 months, as I was focusing on work.

In the meantime, I was focusing on maintaining my private code repos and thinking about ways of what I could improve in my public and private projects.

    What I'm going to do

    I've got nothing …
